Hollow Hills is located in Simi Valley, California northwest of Los Angeles. Our school is one of two Simi Valley Unified School District elementary schools designated as a “Magnet Fundamental School.”
Our motto “Commitment to Excellence” is implemented by the students, staff and parents. This commitment on the part of the entire school community contributes to student success. Volunteering and parent involvement plays a vital role in the school’s success.

Red Ribbon Week 2016
Red Ribbon Week Oct. 24 – 28, 2016
You’ve Got a Choice: Elect to be Drug Free !

Mon., Oct. 24: Kick-Off Assembly to observe Red Ribbon Week. Wear RED!!! A
Student Council will be making letters on the front fence using the bottoms of red Solo™ cups that spell out, “ELECT TO BE DRUG FREE!”
Tues., Oct. 25: Sock it to drugs! Wear crazy socks and help out too! Student Council is collecting brand new socks to donate to a local shelter. Kid President shared this idea of Socktober on his website. Approximately 600,000 people in the United States live on the streets every night. Socktober is our way of showing how one small contribution of a pair of socks can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless. Find out about Socktober by visiting www.happysocktober.com. While sporting your RED t-shirt or sweatshirt, put on a pair of crazy socks. Healthy choices are fun.
Wed., Oct. 26: Be part of the winning team; say NO to drugs! Today is the healthy run at lunch recess. Wear your favorite team jersey or t-shirt and join us for a few laps around the field. Healthy choices are winning moves!
Thurs., Oct. 27: Elect to be Drug Free! Door-decorating Day. Take out the red, white, and blue. It’s time to dress up your classroom door on the outside and show your Hollow Hills pride. This isn’t a competition, so anyone can lend a helping hand…students, student council room reps and committee members, parents, teachers, and staff. Fri., Oct. 28: Say NO to drugs so you can achieve your dreams! Dreams require the proper attire…pajamas! Today is Pajama Day at Hollow Hills. Your pajamas must follow the same guidelines as the school dress code. If you’re not sure, please bring a change of clothes to school in your backpack. Get another copy here!
